Preexisting Nonexistence

2005, site-specific sound and light installation; lights, electronics, sound

Lights flash and glow from behind the rafters of the dilapidated gallery ceiling in sync to the sounds of scratching, rustling, shortwave radio static, and insects emanating intermittently from ceiling. Oscillating low frequency tones occasionally rise over the other sounds causing the hidden light sources to steadily glow and parts of the ceiling to physically rumble.
