When
the installation space is empty, a bright light shines towards the
viewer onto a clear plastic sheet, obscuring
the objects behind it, while a mixture of sounds, including recordings
of the artists working and building in the room, is amplified. When
a visitor walks into the room or moves within it, the sounds cease,
the
bright light turns off, and a faint orange light begins to glow in
a distant corner of the room. When the visitor(s) leave the room, or
if
they remain still for a long enough period of time, the bright light
and sounds resurface and fill the space.
