2008-2009, site-specific light and sound installation;
lights, speakers, audio equipment, electronics...

Sounds found and created in the attic of this former military building are combined with low frequency drones that were composed in response to the site. The field recordings and drone sounds are synched with individual reactive lighting elements and play asynchronously at their own rates, causing ever-changing combinations of sounds and light to spill from the attic space. The installation is viewable only from the base of the stairs, though the low frequencies can be felt as one ascends the staircase from the ground floor.
