Sounds are gathered via microphone(s) installed in or near the exhibition space and are routed to a hidden computer that is programmed to liberally translate the incoming sounds into words, and to then put those words into a a loose grammatical structure. The inability to accurately interpret the room sounds, due to listening conditions and software limitations, cause the computer to produce a predominantly non sequitur text made up mostly of gibberish interspersed with occasional accurately transcribed words. The text is displayed as a large projection and read aloud by the computer as it is being generated.
