Privileged Surface

Privileged Surface is an experimental collaborative video and sound project created by Joshua Churchill and Ven Voisey. With the only precursor to the project being the creation of tension, the two components of the installation were created independently of one another, where Churchill was responsible for creating the video, and Voisey the sound.
During exhibition, the two components are looped and presented simultaneously as a single installation. Since the video and sound loops are different lengths, 12 minutes and 72 minutes respectively, the combination of images and sound remain in constant flux.
